World Book Night


World Book Night is an annual celebration of reading and books which takes place on April 23rd. It sees passionate volunteers give hundreds of thousands of books away in their communities to share their love of reading with others.

Be on the look-out for book givers around town!!!



The Watauga County Public Library, the Friends of the Library and Behind the Stacks would like to invite poetry-lovers of all ages to present their favorite poem, a poem of their own or be the audience.

Date: April 26th

Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Please come early to sign-in, if you wish to read a poem.
