Agatha Christie's 120th Birthday Luncheon Watauga Reads Events


Wednesday, September 15th at 12:00 noon

Join us for tea and a light lunch in celebration of her life and works. Visit with Miss Marple and local mystery writers Scott Nicholson and Wendy Dingwall.
Movies will be shown as well!



Mystery Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Library on Saturday, Sept. 18th from 9 - 5 pm



Youth Services will have Mystery Scavenger Hunt Sheets available all week!

Boone resident Virgil Greer will be the facilitator of a discussion session and book study relating the Watauga Reads 2010 book selection, Mudbound by Hillary Jordan, to African American history, civil rights, and race relations in the Watauga County area.


The author, Hillary Jordan, will be here for a reading and discussion on Friday, Sept. 17th at 10:30 am !
